How many times did Edison fail,
while trying to invent the light?
How many times did he have to admit,
that something just wasn't quite right?
Yet, millions of swiches are turned on today,
and millions of rooms become bright;
the darkness of failure is driven away,
by success in its glorious light.
Oh, what a blessing is Edison's lesson,
keep trying and doing your best;
many shadows of failure can be dispelled,
by the light of a single success!
