This is not an original, but, I put it here as sort of a brake from my own creations.

I usually don't put other peoples works on here.

However, since I don't know who the author is, and since I've not seen this one hanging around the net, or in my emails, I thought I'd go ahead and give it a place here.


Of course, the main reason I put it here is because:

well, it's really good!

A fourth-grade teacher was giving her class a lesson on logic.

"There's a man standing up in a boat, in the middle of the river, fishing," she told them.

"Suddenly, the boat turns over, and the man falls into the river, splashing and screaming for help."

"His wife, knowing that her husband can not swim, quickly runs down to the bank."
The teacher paused, looked thoughtfully at the class, and asked,

"Now, why do you think she did that?


To which a little girl raised her hand and replied,

"So she could draw out all of his savings?"
